Manufacturing

To ensure a consistently superior product offering, we concentrate production of our principal products in a few efficient manufacturing locations around the world. In addition to our windowing and architectural products manufacturing the Hunter Douglas Machine Division is a one-stop supplier of production equipment for fabric, wood and aluminium window coverings.

At all of our manufacturing facilities we try each day to divert more and more materials away from the landfill, benefiting our environment in the process. We are focused on creating sustainable manufacturing processes -recycling and reusing scrap in the production of new products. We also focus on process re-engineering and automation to enable us to serve our customers more quickly and efficiently.

  

Worldwide Distribution

Our worldwide network of several hundred independent and 95 company-owned fabricators sell, service and develop our retail trade distribution, while offering quick delivery of our custom made products from their assembly plants in local markets.

We closely support fabricators to ensure they consistently offer the best quality and service with the most advanced automated assembly technology in the industry. Our sophisticated sampling, merchandising and training programs enable fabricators to establish strong relationships with over 100,000 retail dealers Worldwide.

  

Full Support

We provide our fabricators and dealer network with innovative sales and marketing programs that include advertising and promotional campaigns, sampling, displays and signage, product education and business-building programs, technical service, and assistance in computer-supported administrative areas. We also train thousands of Hunter Douglas installers around the world in outstanding installations service.

Through these extra steps, we've forged strong and enduring relationships with our fabricators and our dealers.
