Our History

More than 60 years ago, Hunter Douglas pioneered a unique, continuous casting and integrated manufacturing process to produce painted aluminum strip that forms the basic material for many of our products. This early innovation enabled us to create efficient and trusted production methods that helped us become the industry leader we are today.
